Each Sunday we have the nursery available for parents with little children. The nursery has an area with a TV where you could continue to watch the worship service while attending the needs of your children. 

The pray-ground is a worship space in the front of the sanctuary where the young and the young at heart can experience worship through age-appropriate materials and manipulatives that are designed to complement the theme of the whole of worship.  The pray-ground is where children learn that they are welcome in the sanctuary!

During summer, we celebrate a VBS in collaboration with other churches in the area. Last summer we had enrolled a total of 35 kids and on the last day of the Friday Festival we held about 85 People.

Every summer, we take our kids to church camp using programs provided by the Illinois Great Rivers Conference. Scholarships are available.

The Senior Adult Ministry provides enrichment (for those age 55 plus) through a group called Jubilee.  Members seek to grow spiritually, gain knowledge, enjoy Christian fellowship, and discover opportunities for Christian service.  Special events, day trips, and seasonal programs as well as concerts and other types of musical entertainment are scheduled throughout the year. 

The Chi Rho women’s group meets monthly for fellowship, support, and worship. We serve our church and our community. We often have educational programs, and we raise money by selling nuts and candy in order to provide financial help to area organizations. We help other social groups and volunteer at the Midwest Distribution Center.
